Klaudia Smith, LCPC
Sequoia and Elm Lodge Director
Klaudia is the Lodge Director at Sequoia and Elm Lodge. She is an experienced interdisciplinary leader in multiple settings. She started her career working for the Department of Children Services on an interdisciplinary team working towards family reunification. She then transitioned to community mental health where she served as a group and individual therapist. Later, Klaudia achieved the position of team lead for a medical/mental health team whose purpose was to transition nursing facility residents into independent living through the assistance of the Colbert Grant.
Throughout her career, Klaudia has served as a clinical and administrative supervisor, providing support to a variety of teams. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chicago State University. She also has additional training in DBT, Domestic Violence, and Sexual Assault.
