6/4/2007 – Timberline Knolls Appoints Marc Vorkapich Vice President of Sales and Marketing
CHICAGO (June 4, 2007) - Timberline Knolls, an innovative residential center designed exclusively for women with emotional disorders, has announced the appointment of Marc Vorkapich as vice president of sales and marketing. Vorkapich will be responsible for leading the Timberline Knolls national sales team in developing, implementing and managing sales and marketing efforts.
With ten years experience in healthcare sales and marketing, Vorkapich most recently served as the division director of business development for Tandem Rehabilitation, a comprehensive rehabilitation service provider.
Timberline Knolls CEO Carol Schneider said Vorkapich's extensive sales and marketing experience in the healthcare arena, combined with a shared dedication to Timberline Knolls' residents and their families, will prove beneficial as the treatment center enters its second year.
"We experienced significant growth during our first year open, during which we established Timberline Knolls as a top-tier residential treatment center," said Schneider. "With Marc's appointment, we expect to not only sustain this level of performance and achievement, but to also better serve the community."
Vorkapich's other experience includes serving as regional director of business development for Aegis Therapies. Prior to Aegis, Vorkapich held management positions at HEALTHSOUTH, HCR ManorCare, Inc., Charleston Physicians Healthcare and Lifequest Health and Wellness.
He holds a bachelor of science in physiology from Virginia Tech, and a masters program long-term care certificate and assisted living facility administrator CORE training certificate.
