Marcia S. Nickow, Psy.D., CADC, CGP
Clinical Coordinator - Primary and Group Therapist
Marcia Nickow, Psy.D., CADC, CGP, is the clinical coordinator at Timberline Knolls where she oversees a clinical team of primary therapists, family therapists, substance abuse specialists, eating disorders specialists and dieticians. Dr. Nickow also conducts intensive individual and group psychotherapy with both adolescents and adults who have substance use disorders, eating disorders, trauma histories, self-injury histories and a range of psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Nickow is currently an affiliate faculty member at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s clinical psychology and forensic psychology programs. She received both her master’s and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also received a master’s degree in human services with a concentration in addictions from National-Louis University in Evanston, IL. She holds certifications as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (State of Illinois), Graduate Certificate in Eating Disorders (National-Louis University) and as a Group Psychotherapist (American Group Psychotherapy Association).
She is a member of the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association, the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors/The Association for Addiction, Illinois Psychological Association, the Illinois Group Psychotherapy and the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
