As the CEO, Colleen oversees the day-to-day responsibility for the management and operation of Timberline Knolls. She has primary responsibility for the development, implementation, and achievement of the strategic business plan in conjunction with routine operations to include: quality of care, staff development, maintenance of licensure and accreditations, financial performance, and continuous performance improvement.
Colleen began at Timberline Knolls working directly with the residents providing milieu treatment services and fostering the therapeutic community. From there, she segued into the admissions department where she led the important process of outreach and intervention to all who reached out to Timberline Knolls for help.
Colleen led Timberline’s national business development outreach efforts, working collaboratively and in partnership with professionals and payors to facilitate access and promote continuity of care and a life-long recovery path for our residents.
Colleen completed her undergraduate work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. She earned a Masters in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She currently serves on the board of NAMI Chicago.
