Admissions Criteria
To be admitted, the client should:
- be at least 12 years old
- exhibit primary drug and/or alcohol abuse or dependence or eating disorders and psychiatric disorders such as major depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive behavior and self-harming behaviors
- exhibit primary mental illness including secondary drug or alcohol problem
Some items will exclude someone from admittance, including:
- acute psychotic disorders which preclude participation in the program structure and/or activities
- pending legal problems of such nature as to encumber the resident's participation in treatment
- a history of excessive violence, convicted sexual offense or fire-setting
